FocusDot keeps everything on your device. Your tasks, sessions, streaks, and moods never leave your phone. There's no account, no sign-up, and no tracking. The only data that leaves your device is what the app store needs to process a purchase — nothing else.

FocusDot does not collect, store on our servers, or transmit your personal information. We have no servers and no user accounts. Everything you create in the app is saved locally on your device using an on-device database, and stays there.

Because this data lives only on your device, uninstalling FocusDot permanently deletes it. We keep no copy, so there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
FocusDot offers a one-time Pro unlock. When you buy it, the purchase is handled by Google Play (and, on Apple devices, the App Store) together with RevenueCat, our billing provider. To process and restore purchases, these services receive purchase and transaction details and a random, anonymous identifier for your app installation, along with basic device information. They do not receive your name, and FocusDot never sees your payment details. This data is handled under each provider's own privacy policy:
If you allow notifications, FocusDot schedules them locally on your device to let you know a focus session has finished. These are created and delivered entirely on your phone — no notification data is sent anywhere. You can turn them off any time in your device settings.
FocusDot contains no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party tracking software. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share data — because we don't have any to sell or share.
FocusDot is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights over your personal data. Since FocusDot stores your data only on your own device and we hold none of it, those rights are met by design — you already have full control, and can erase everything by uninstalling the app. For anything related to a purchase, contact the relevant store or RevenueCat using the links above.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and post the revised version here. Continued use of FocusDot after a change means you accept the updated policy.
